Love him or loath him, and I know many parents for whom it's the latter, Psalty, that talking Bible with the adenoidal voice, has been a real money spinner in the past so now that Ernie Rettino and Debbie Kerner Rettino have moved their whole Kids Praise Co from Maranatha Music over to Word. I expect we're going to hear a lot more of his adventures. It was a clever device making a story line out of the missing ninth Psalty album (presumably to do with record company politics) so now we have a garish sleeve that reads "will our hero rescue the missing 9th Psalty album from that dastardly Risky Rat (wonder what exec that is) and what lessons will our adventurers learn along the way?" There's plenty of cutsey American kids voices, ten chirpy songs ranging from the usual snappy Rettino originals to "Onward Christian Soldiers" and a promise that this album will reveal 'The secret of how to grow in the Lord".
