There's lift muzak, Christian lift muzak and, the lowest of the low, Christian Christmas lift muzak. This is the latter and I have no idea why it has been produced. The pedestrian piano playing of Eric Nordhoff linked with a bit of tinkly acoustic guitar from Louie Shelton sounds like every other ambient Christmas album you've ever heard - actually, no, it's worse than that. Amongst the usual yuletide smaltz ("O Christmas Tree", "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" etc, etc) are a couple of original but instantly forgettable compositions by the aforementioned Mr Nordhoff. 10 tracks at under 40 minutes. If you want to do something with your money at Christmas, give it to charity: don't waste it on CDs like this.
