RH is an upcoming rapper from Topeka, Kansas and this is his debut. Comparisons to Kanye West may seem OTT, yet the similarity is startling. The majority of the tracks have the same happy-go-lucky, summery beats, and RH's rapping is delivered in almost the same tone and style. The opener "I'll Go" is a great starter and this follows into the serene "I Need Thee," but a few tracks later the old-school "Go Bananas" is a definite low point. 'Life In The Making Starring...God,' is let down by pacing - the laid back vibe of the album means it ends up a little flat - it just doesn't hold your attention for its entirety and while some tracks are good they are not exceptional. There are some good hooks here yet there are also overlong interludes that make the album feel a bit self indulgent. A lot of potential here but more focus is needed.
