Radio Drive is the recording persona of Minnesota-based eclectic pop rock singer Kevin Gullickson. He clearly likes to play around and this set wanders about the various peaks and troughs of pop topography and helps itself to what it likes. From arena rock to '60s summer anthems (the catchy "Footsteps"), Gullickson can't keep his artistic vision still. He moulds memorable melodies throughout the many-faceted terrain, a shining example being the chorus of the bass-driven "I Won't Let Go". He's also up for a little controversy, as shown in the explicitly anti-evolution "Created," which is sure to divide listeners. As a singer he's competent but not outstanding, but the album isn't riding purely on vocals. With the infamous "third album" behind him, Kevin can continue to push forward with confidence.
