Teaming up with producer/guitarist Dave Perkins gave Stonehill the opportunity to blow away a few cobwebs and record a straight ahead rock album. Intentions are immediately introduced in the rocking opening title cut and then, if you were in any doubt, confirmed on "Here Come The Big Guitars" with its massive groove and Big Country style guitar work. Thankfully things don't continue at this frenetic pace for the whole album or I don't think anyone would survive! Other highlights include the side two opener "What Do You Want For Life" which is reminiscent of an earlier song "Bad Fruit" on 'The Sky Is Falling'. It's built round an insistent chant. "Get Together" is a cover of a '60s song made popular by The Youngbloods and Dave Clark Five with another memorable "peace and love" style chorus. "Evangeline" has a powerful intensity whilst the album closer "Hope Of Glory" is an uplifting finale to the album. Personally I do like it when Stonehill lets his hair down and rocks and tribute should be made to Perkins for helming the album in this direction.
