When you realise that Ray Repp took the bold step of introducing contemporary Christian music to his church in the '60s, you can almost consider him a father of CCM. These songs were first released well into his ministry, in 1985, and without wishing to take anything away from them, you can tell. The first two tracks, "Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow" and "With These Hands", seem to have stood the test of time but the rest of the songs do hark back to an earlier era in contemporary worship. That said, if that is what you want, then you will not be disappointed because put in that context, this is an excellent collection. Outside of that you may find it too dated. But it is nice to hear these songs and be reminded of those that were prepared to go against the accepted norm of the day to take worship into new places and for that, Ray, we are thankful.
