"We don't believe people should have to pay to hear the Gospel, except that we like our expenses covered... We just want to share the Gospel, so we've never asked for any set price." Now, there's a refreshing answer when you ask a band's fee for a show! It comes from Red, a young Sheffield outfit whose new four-song tape is essentially a demo, recorded squashed in their church office on a handy four-track, which doesn't hide their good songs and the fact that these guys can play. They tend to favour medium tempo poppy material with light intros before they cut loose, which they can do perfectly enjoyably. Good band for live church-related youth events, I'd reckon; a serious booking enquiry will get you a demo tape.
