Surely one of the most improved bands on the British scene and this energetic 11 song set from Southsea's Wedgwood Rooms, with plenty of audience participation from the dedicated local crowd is very impressive. The track list mainly showcases their recent 'Underground' album, with a older favourite here and there and a couple of surprises - notably new song "In Between", with its bass and synth pad intro. "You Are", with its line "you made me into a trophy of your grace," is a highlight for me, but it's hard to pick any one track out from this strong set of anthemic songs. The package includes a DVD with a couple of music videos and documentaries. A nice little bonus for an album which is way above the average live recording, this is intelligent, nicely crafted rock from the south coast trio which deserves a wide hearing.
