Replenish have spent a little while playing churches and pubs in the south coast and gaining a little bit of a name for themselves. If you haven't yet discovered the band, now's the time to do it as they are in the studio recording a follow up full length project building on the success of this EP. Fundamentally, this fourpiece create a vibey, indie rock sound with gritty vocals from Ross Gill and loads and loads of guitar from Gill and Harun Kotch. Plenty of driving rhythms underpin catchy choruses and some splendid moments. The heart of the CD is the straightahead, almost worshipful "Forever", which has got to be the one that does it for me, but then there's the subtle acoustic "To You" and the atmospheric "The Air" which also connect. Overall the yearning passion of these songs only whets my appetite to hear what the band can do with a full length project.
