Ho hum, another gospel album. That's how I felt after first listening to this which was released Stateside back in '91 and only now gets a UK airing thanks to Alliance's deal with Malaco/Savoy. What makes a good gospel album? Of course that largely depends on the needs and preferences of the listener and it didn't do much for me. It consists of eight tracks, a total of under 40 minutes. Sad to say Rev Timothy Wright, "a legend in his own time" (but don't they all say that?) has produced a very average, run of the mill gospel album of which nothing is particularly outstanding. You wonder when listening to this about the musical quality of this recording which, in my humble opinion, has been lost for the sake of churning out another album. Buy this if you must, but don't say I didn't warn you...
