Revive stepped up a gear when Third Day hooked up with them to be the support act for their Australian tour. Being impressed by the band's live shows and songs, the Atlanta CCM stars persuaded Revive to relocate from Australia to the US in order to mentor them. The resulting album, 'Chorus Of The Saints', was produced by Third Day's Mac Powell. This is a great record, from full on rock out praise "Chorus Of The Saints" to contemplative "Sit With Me" to anthems "Promise Of Tomorrow". Dave Hanbury possesses a powerful, versatile voice, and the band, who have been playing together now since 2004, are tight, confident and inspiring. There are obvious musical influences, such as U2, Delirious? and of course Third Day. This is a vertical praise album that can be consumed on many levels, lyrically they are heaven focussed, musically they are at a peak, artistically they have been developed and nurtured through their time with Third Day. Most of all Revive are clearly enjoying what they do, and this release deserves to propel Revive to the next stage of their career.
