Ricardo Sanchez is the worship leader at the 1,700-member First Assembly Dream Center in his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. He has also toured with Israel Houghton. His music here still has an occasional Latin tinge, with a chorus-here-or-bridge-there in Spanish, but mainly he plays down his Latino heritage in favour of generic pop rock worship. Lyrics are straight down the line with song titles like "Thank You, Thank You", "We Love You Jesus" and "Lord I Worship You" indicating Ricardo isn't going for much lyrical penetration. Still, he's got a strong voice as well as a worshipful heart and this nicely produced album is not without some merit.
