Rich Jones is a lead worshipper at St John's in Bradford. He also leads worship at city wide gatherings and serves in local organisations like The Lighthouse Group and Bradford YFC. To boot, he is currently engaged in training and raising up lead worshippers in the Bradford and Leeds areas. This EP contains four songs written or co-written by Rich, and all will feature on a full-length CD planned for the near future. Worship songs are to be judged by how genuinely worshipful they are, and "Holy Is Your Name" is a simple yet beautiful song of adoration. The more reflective "Mary's Son" is also worshipful, but is so subdued that it loses appeal. In truth, the synth sounds do get a tad wearisome - a full band would greatly aid proceedings. But clearly Rich has plenty to give the worshipping Church.

My hubby came back from a conference with The TLC Album(weeks ago) I work in missions and i took this to work to hear on my cd at work today, and when this track came on, I was really pleased as it was just what i needed. I love worship, and only a couple of days thought i really need a new song, a freshness, today i have found it in this song... captures all that think at the moment .
Rich, thank you and may you continue to bring us further music for our enjoyment and to bring us closer to the One who all music was created for ! I shall be looking out for your name on all further CD's that i buy, and I shall also be interested in all your future work as well...
all the best , sharon cullen

Rich captures the heart of worship as he brings pop fusion to the Christian masses. We could state the blindingly obvious and say 'a band would be better' but worship is ALWAYS better when done 'live' anyway. Lyrically and soulfully it gets my vote as an honest vehicle to sound worship, exposing the heart before a God with open arms and grace abounding.
