I'm told that this is a genuine zero budget production from this Welsh worship leader with Richard recording it on his laptop and playing all the instruments. Considering that, these five songs of faith and encouragement are very effective and being offered for free download should be snapped up for those looking for fresh Scripture-based worship songs. Considering its humble origins, there are inevitably one or two production misjudgements, the synth sounds on the opener "Hope And Stay" are cheap, but not particularly cheerful, while the guitar-and-keys accompaniment to "Fellowship" is a tad too loud for the vocals. But Richard's easy-on-the-ear voice is never less than appealing and his compositions memorable. In fact, "Trinity" is an undiscovered gem ("Glory to the Father/Glory to the Son/Glory to the Spirit/Forever three-in-one") which deserves being sung across Britain's churches.
