Always an optimist I hoped for an album that might just touch on to the professionalism of the secular market.  But disappointment came all too quickly. The first track, "Love Is", has potential, although I fear its catchy tune and repetitive lyrics resemble too much the disastrous Eurovision entries we are hounded with each year. The title track is better, with simple, truthful lyrics.  But the weak arrangement makes it again a retrograde step for Christian music.  For me, the safety net is only cast with "Frontline" the most punchy track on the album. To describe this as middle of the road is perhaps unfair to that particular sector of music, however I feel that the weakness of song and arrangement demands such a label. To its credit, my wife found it acceptable, but then again, she's got every Cliff Richard song inscribed on her lips.  Still, it's inoffensive pop gospel that the undemanding might enjoy.

I disagree with Bren Taylor as well. I have loved Rick Crawford's music as well. This particular album helped me go through a year of heartache as I watched my daughter go in and out of the hospital. After she passed away the music was able to touch wounds that words could not. I wish I knew where Rick was today and if he has produced any other music.

I totally disagree with the comment by Bren Taylor. I think that this album by Rick Crawford has been the best there is. It's very spiritual to fullest with no comprimise unlike other christian artist. This album has been intrumental in my spiritual growth throughout the years. I only wish I can get it on CD because my cassette tape has worn out. Much blessings to Rick and this album.

I also disagree with Bren Taylor. This is a great album. I have both his CD's. Excellent music. I have been a disc jockey at an FM Christian radio station for several years. You have to learn to like all kinds of music to learn to appreciate all the folks that have contributed to all kinds of Christian music.
