Over the years Rivers & Robots have proven themselves to be one of the most creatively attuned worship ministries and their albums 'Eternal Sun' and 'All Things New' offer songs a long way from the pop rock predictability of some modern worship. Now they have surprised us with this instrumental set and though it has not (thankfully) been marketed as a "soaking" album, its haunting atmospheric soundscapes would work beautifully in that context. Well-known worship songs like "Good Good Father", "I Exalt Thee" and "The Lion And The Lamb" are given deft and sensitive treatments by Jonathan Ogden and his friends and this is far, far better than most instrumental worship projects.
