More soothing renditions of choruses and hymns. Sadly, the gilt has somewhat worn off the concept of instrumental praise albums by too many being shoved onto the market by unimaginative record companies. Despite that, 'Praise Him On The Cello Volume 1' was always one of the best of the genre, Robin being a virtuoso, very much Britain's answer to John Catchings. On Volume 2 one should listen for his lovely bowing on that most moving of hymns "Holy, Holy, Holy" or the way that a deft new arrangement (by veteran producer Chris Norton) brings a whole new atmosphere to Brian Doerksen's "Father I Want You To Hold Me". Good of its kind.
