This musical, based on one of Christ's most astonishing miracles, was given its first airing at the Girls' Brigade Centenary Celebrations in 1992 and in fact the opening "Seek, Serve And Follow" is based upon the Girls' Brigade motto. I didn't particularly care for the massed sopranos of the choir but the deliciously expressive voice of versatile Mike Stanley (playing Christ) was a delight while the 'girl' (played by Jenny Adams) has an excellent song as well over a surprisingly funky synth riff! Roger Jones does these musicals better than anybody else around and this is well up to his standards.
