Hosanna's bi-monthly worship series caters for a broad worldwide audience and this passionate expression fits the bill well, covering a range of moods and tempos. Ably led by Ross Parsley in his home Colorado church, it's a pity there are so few originals (just two songs are co-written by Parsley). However, the covers are well-rendered - two excellent Darrell Evans songs, one from Waterdeep, and Matt Redman's "Knocking On The Door Of Heaven" - all find impressive place. More striking still is the deep and moving worship flow attending "You Are My King" and Brenton Brown's delectable "Humble King" - two gorgeous moments. And though the trio of prayer times - while inspiring - is over-long, there is a generous overall play time of 70 minutes. In no way groundbreaking, this is yet a fine, worshipful set.
