I don't know, really. This is one of those praise recordings that seems to have found a nice, warm, cosy little rut, and settled down, all snug and safe. The songs are all new compositions but adhere to every musical and lyrical cliche in the book. Ross Parsley's style overflows with smoothness and the apparent improvisation comes across as well rehearsed and polished whether it is in fact, or not. Though he himself appears to simply be the Choir Director, the vocalists, musicians and overall style are presumably following his guidance and the audience responses all follow predictable patterns. In fact, predictability about sums it up - pass on this one.
