The Glasgow-based evangelistic rockers put themselves in unfamiliar territory with this acoustic performance. The setting is a bright, modern church building, so you are acutely aware that this will not be a big budget extravaganza that you would expect from Delirious? Or U2. However the sound is clear throughout and well mixed. The opening track is strong, but the addition of friend Steph MacLeod gives more power to the guitar sound, as well as providing lead guitar. He also contributes to the delightful vocal harmonies. In terms of the visuals, the camera angles are simple but effective and uncomplicated. The panning and movements are smooth, while the mixing between shots is also clear and clean. Complaints? Well, the lights provide a lot of glare to shots from the left side of the stage as you see it on screen, and the close-up shots of the band members at the back are a bit out of focus. Also the font used on the song titles on screen takes a bit of deciphering. The extras included are again quite basic: a Steph MacLeod-led song that is an outtake, rehearsal footage of new song "Rise Up" and "Steve's Jazz Minute", a piece of radio comedy set to the backdrop of a goofy face from bassist Steven Adamson. It is not the most visually stimulating music DVD you will ever see, but it is a good performance from a talented group.
