Rousing stuff this, and a sensible songbook to inspire rather than deter, with chords to stretch and exercise your ability. There are some catchy rock grooves which are repeated just enough to allow you to get into them and build your confidence before taking you off into typical Russ Taff melodic flow, often combined with powerful lyrics. No chord shape indications with the chords here but that didn't seem a problem once you got into playing the material. There were no group of chords that diverse that couldn't be worked out with some careful thought or quick reference to the faithful 'chord shape' book. Sensible keyboard parts with some really catchy riffs and the occasional key and modulation worthy of keeping even the competent on their toes.
