This Stockholm-based husband and wife team Ben and Anita Tatlow released their debut album in 2013. Since then, through the power of the internet and an EP 'Though The Midst", they have gained a strong following across the musical spectrum. The "difficult second album" presents a more personal message, but the beautiful "crystal vocals" from Anita (sounding like Dido in places) continue, embedded with a gentle musical landscape, effortlessly drawing the listener in. Amongst the instrumentals there are great vocal tracks: "Lighthouse" is an exhortation to the listener to shine as "You were made for so much more." "Bring The Rain" is an encouragement in difficult times and "Did You Hear It" provides reinforcement to continue on, with gentle lyrics which have become expected from Salt Of The Sound. This is yet another outstanding release which, after many listens, I can confirm will deliver every time.
