It is not stating the case too strongly that in recent years the Stockholm-based Ben and Anita Tatlow have made the world of "Christian ambient pop" their own, achieving airplay on both Christian and mainstream radio stations. Here they turn their considerable talent to instrumentals including songs from previous releases 'Echoes Of Wonder' and 'From The Steepest Slopes'. There is also additional songwriting from Ken Peschell on "Quiet Me". In its intended context the collection works well, especially if you are familiar the originals where applicable, or "Be Thou My Vision" - also covered here. And even if you don't know these songs, this music works well enough as an aid to meditation or for a "soaking" session.
