Husband and wife team Anita and Ben Tatlow have found a niche for themselves with what they call "reflective Christian music" and this six-song EP follows on from the well-received 'Journeys' album of 2013. With its deft fusion of electronic and acoustic sounds 'Through The Mist' abounds in atmospheric musical textures. "Even The Winds And The Waves Obey Him" has some intriguing chord progressions and a panning effect which skillfully conveys the sense of God moving around the forest with all creation bowing to him. Another standout is the opener "Where Do I Begin?" while "As The Mist Clears" has a particularly haunting vocal from Anita. Whether you call this music ambient or music for soaking is less important than the fact that the Sweden-based couple are continuing to make some of the most evocative music for meditation anywhere.
