Sax maestro Sam has roped in a few sessioner pals for this 12-track CD, and there are plenty of cool grooves to satisfy enthusiasts of the instrument. Unfortunately, not all the music fits the jazz category. The presence of the Nashville Siring Machine will ring alarm bells, and studying the track list reveals some inspirational impostors in among the Christian tunes, with "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (inaccurately titled as "Waters"), "I Can See Clearly Now", "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and the old James Taylor song "Shower The People" being the worst offenders. I can really only recommend half the album, the rest is a case of listen to the bland.
