German-born Samuel Harfst is the driving force behind the Samuel Harfst band which is at times a trio and at other times has five or six members contributing instrumentally. These guys are really interesting to read about, they love nothing more than to busk live out in the open-air and it is from here that they receive invites to play at more formal events such as weddings and concerts. 'Simply For You' is an extremely easy CD to listen to. The beautiful, mellow, gentle tone is so relaxing and soothing, a good one to put on when you want to kick off your shoes, sit back and just meditate on the beauty of Jesus, Saviour of the world. What is difficult to do is name a particular track that stands out, the whole collection of songs just seems to flow one into another. Not in a monotonous kind of way, but in a way that expresses the overflow of a heart of worship.
