The first time you play this album, turn up the speakers really loud and stand back. The raucous electric guitar initially blasts out with the power of a hurricane. The lyrics of this first track "Send A Shock Through The Power Lines" fit well. This is a sound that could fill a stadium. On this their fourth album, their major CCM success in the States is likely to continue. With a collection of bouncy anthems, such as "Sing" - "with one voice, one church under one King" - the songs carry their messages to today's youth with considerable passion. The title track is softer in approach but has a simplistic call to learn to love. Having toured together since 1996, the band are now showing a spiritual maturity in their subject content as personal trials invade their lyrics. "Eternal" reflects on personal mortality and that although divorce and death can separate us from love, there is no risk of losing God's love. This is a band you would want leading a youth service.

This was always going to be a hard album for Sanctus Real folling up from an album as great as "the face of love" and what they've come up with is a great album, but for Sanctus Real I don't think it's the best. There are some songs like "We Need Eachother" and "Black Coal" which are amazing but it doesn't seem as joint and fluid as an album as "The Face of love" did. Don't get me wrong, i love this album and i would highly recomend getting it but if you havn't heard Sanctus Real and want to get 1 CD to see if you like them, pick "The Face of Love"
