As you may already know, Sarah is the worship leader at Cambridge's Faith Life Church and, as on her 2007 debut 'Enthroned', the compositions here were born out of worship sessions at the church, lending the material an unforced, organic quality. Sarah's strong, pure voice is backed by a choir made up of members of her congregation and, with the help of the help of a highly skilled backing band, they provide us with an album of incredible variety. From the uptempo, atmospheric "Can You Hear The Sound" which captures the imagination from the very start with its slight eastern flavour and pounding drumbeat to the delicate "Be Glorified" and tender "The Father's Love". Producer Michael Tyrrell, (Delirious?, Jason Upton, Rick Pino) also proves himself a deft guitarist on the rock number "Holy Fire". This is a passionate worship album that, lyrically and musically, is not afraid to try something a little different but there is still much here to please fans of a more traditional approach.
