The rap punk rockers from Hastings surprised everyone with their hugely enjoyable single "Get Up" which made the Cross Rhythms playlist, which isn't exactly going platinum but is still a huge achievement for an independent debut. Now they return with this download EP. Those crunching guitars, careering pogo-friendly rhythms and rapid-delivery verbal assaults were put to good use on the four songs, recorded at Willoughby Lane Studios with MaLoKai's Alex Greig. All are wonderfully raw, in-your-face and infectious with the shouted refrain "this is the sound of a broken nation!" on "Boom Tah" and the sung declaration of devotion intro "I'm gonna hold on, never let you go" on "One13" both catching the ear. Evangelical Beastie Boys? Whatever next.
