I am always on the look out for classic CCM, my latest
search did not fail, GOD is good, Amen!
talk about your early live CCM albums, this is quite
a rare one to have and hear.
This album had the lyrics included, very rare for a live
album to include. Prior to the group GLAD releasing
a debut album this same year, they sang background
vocals at this live concert for Scott. Could the bgv's
get any better than GLAD for a back up!
Scott had just released album "I'm Not Religious, I Just Love The Lord" in November '77. This live performance was recorded and released shortly
after in early '78. Quite a change in Scott's appearance from last album, I bet people had to take a second look to make sure it was really him (haha). So glad this live album included first song I heard by him on CCM radio, "I Wish You Jesus", it will always have a special place. Glad provided top notch bgv's for this song!
I really like "How Can I Say I Love You", a prayer song. "Learning" and "Dance" are also from "I'm Not
Religious... " album.
Scott relays a touching story about a little girl praying ABC's to GOD. Scott likes to talk a lot! (LOL).
My SWB Collection keeps growing : ) .
