Most scripture learning tapes seem to be aimed at the Playbus/Sesame Street age group. Now they may be great for little ones but once kids get any sense of sophistication they ignore them as babyish. Brentwood have tried to put this right. 'Scripture Rock' takes a whole bunch of contemporary pop/rock styles from skate-punk to ballad, from heavy rock to pure Rembrant-esque pop, and something that reminds me of the Banana Bunch theme song. It's a brave attempt but the lack of chart/dance tracks leaves it short of the mark for most British kids.
