The two Shanes, Bernard and Everett, are unashamedly worshippers very popular in the US CCM scene and come over powerfully on their latest album. Though mainly written by Shane Bernard, 'Clean' includes some well known songs by other writers such as "He Is Exalted" by Twila Paris. All of these are delivered with a pleasant acoustic guitar-lead rock feel that occasionally has a bit of a kick to it. If you have not heard Shane & Shane before then 'Clean' is a very good introduction and it will not upset their existing fans either. Worth getting hold of for its lack of trite lyrics and polished sound!
