A wonderful CD, from an independent American singer/songwriter, which sends shivers down one's spine and leaves one with that feeling of do I get a cup of coffee and snuggle in the chair or lie prostrate across the floor? Shannon has the most delightful, moving voice, deep, mellow and interesting and the lyrics are awesome and thought-provoking. Shannon says, "When God gives me a song sometimes I'm forced to pull over and write it down." Each song on this CD is a reflection of Shannon's own walk with the Lord, her journey, but it could fit in with many. She took a deliberate step into an overtly Christian genre even though she had a fan base in the college band scene. And the response has been overwhelming. The CD is a courageously eclectic selection of music styles ranging from the haunting sounds of "Someday They'll Follow Me", to the reggae beat of "Jesus, Your All I Need" with rock and roll and bluegrass in between! Truly something for everyone.
