Endeavouring to capture the heart of the 2008 Firestorm Outpouring - a powerful work of the Holy Spirit still going on in Dudley, West Midlands - this offers worship songs led by Ryan Baker-Barnes and Sharon Baker. After the driving rock music of Ryan it is Sharon's wistful "How Awesome" that draws you in to the presence of God and must have been very powerful at the live event. The next few songs are also led by Sharon and keep to the slower, more worshipful pace. The pace picks up again at the end with "All Consuming Fire" and "Hallelujah God Is Good" and the album ends to the resounding cry of Ryan Baker-Barnes singing "Our God Reigns". The overall sound quality of the album is very good, whilst at the same time giving you a real sense of being in the congregation. Also worth mentioning is the fact that free chord sheets for the songs can be found on the Revival Fires website, which is great for anyone wanting to use these songs in their own church. All in all, powerful and atmospheric worship performed with considerable professionalism.
