This could only emanate from the same stable as Secret Archives of The Vatican. The cover is medieval via the Pre-Raphaelites, and the instrumental music within is more of that unique blend favoured by eccentric guitar-synth supremo Vince Millett. Electronic renderings of Medieval tunes blend with ambient pieces, rain, birdsong, oriental melodies and sampled voices. As usual, the liner notes are designed to further confuse rather than elucidate, but that's part of the plan. I particularly liked the track "Lamentation: The Tracks Of The Poet's Snowshoes", where a cathedral choir sing over a drum machine and synth accompaniment. Unique.
