This is the latest CD in America's best-selling series of kids worship resources which sets verses of Scripture to music in the hope of getting our kids to have fun worshipping and singing Bible verses. I have known similar offerings do their stuff very well in the past, some of which has made impressions on bigger kids like me! In this case, however, I regret to say a fleeting memory is more likely to be the result. Don't think that this means badly executed music or below-par vocals, but I just didn't find any of the songs on offer here especially catchy which when you're dealing with a younger audience is pretty essential. Music overall is good quality pop-worship which is not a million miles from much of the current crop of mainstream adult-oriented material, of which the title track is a prime example. As with the majority of other tunes, it is adult led with the kids providing choral refrains and support in the choruses, with singing from adults and kids alike being smooth and balanced. Personally I found the over-enthusiastic introductions of Scripture at the beginning of some songs such as "Bless The Lord At All Times" and "Ask Seek Knock" became quite nauseating. The messages of the songs can't be knocked (this is God's word after all) but the way they were conveyed may not quite hit the mark for many.
