Sibling's cassette single Taster' provides a nibble of sweet candy bar '80s synth assisted middle of the road rock. The price is right and although the recording is of sufficient quality (despite too much reverb on the vocals for my palate) the three tracks don't stand out from the crowd (Buffet?) either lyrically or musically. The songs are fairly upbeat but only chug along doing what is expected of a song in this style not reaching into anything new. The sound reminded me of the long departed Cardiff band One To One from an album of theirs I've had for a number of years. With the current trend for '80s bands to reform, this single and the forthcoming album will sit in the market filled with nostalgia which probably isn't enough to sustain it.
