Forget those not very nice panpipe albums on Brent-wood Music, if you want the blessed instrument playing music that is soothing to the mind and spirit this fine duo, for a while based at the Lee Abbey Community, are for you. Their previous album 'Reaching Out' was a goodly seller in Britain's bookstores while this has more of Simeon's eerily haunting pipes and flute aided by unobtrusive classical guitar by John. Some synths by veteran producer Chris Norton give the whole thing class. The material is self composed interspersed with a couple of pieces by Gershwin and Satie. Very nice.
