WOW!! The Word of GOD hits near the top of the pop world music charts!! And, it would not be the first time a gospel flavored song hit the Billboard charts. "Oh Happy Day" by Edwin Hawkins singers hit #4 in May of 1969. The group Ocean hit #2 on charts in March 1971 with the popular "Put Your Hand in the Hand". And, in March 1974 Sister Janet Mead hits #4 on Billboard with "The LORD's Prayer". I have the 7" vinyl and the 12" vinyl as well. I just luv the style of how the song was recorded, and Janet sings it with honesty in her vocals. Thank you Janet for a wonderful song to be heard world wide!!! Just listen to the music of this song, it is ccm genre at a super early stage!!GOD wants to be heard, especially through music I believe. Top ccm artists Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith have recorded faith songs heard world wide! The group Alabama had a hit in 1993 with "Angels Among Us" worldwide also. In 2002 Randy Travis' "Three Wooden Crosses" was a smash all around the globe; it hit big in 2003:there are many other songs, too numerous to mention! Even though our country has strayed; GOD needs to be put back!!: including the 10 Commandments!Let us not forget our MAKER!!
GOD Bless! -Don
