Handle with care!  From beginning to end, this disc is an eruption of fast-paced drums amidst an onslaught of power chords, forming a formidable power house of rhythms and pop-laden grooves, Slick Shoes demonstrate themselves to be a find band.  Lyrically, they intelligently explore a welcome variety of ideas and emotions, the desire to fight against conformity (“The Last Round”), inner struggles (“Learn To Unlearn”), the celebration of love (“For Better, For Worse”) and tackling life’s oddities (“When Does It End?”).  Whilst Ryan’s delivery may take some time to get used to, the overall sound of the band is nothing short of amazing.
