Four cuts from the 'Slick Shoes' album, three from 'Wake Up Screaming', three from 'Burn Out', three from 'Rusty' and two from the 'Slick Shoes' EP (not to be confused with the album). All well and good, seeing the band find its particular niche with full throated punk opuses. It's the four new and previously unreleased tracks featured here, produced by Tooth & Nail reliable Aaron Sprinkle, which suggest a new direction for the band with a more jerky, hard edged approach away from the increasingly limited scope of the careering pogo rhythms evident on their Green Day-style days. The rap on the exciting "Spleen Puncher" suggests some intriguing new directions to explore.
