First, facts. Slow Loris are a Christian pop group from Newport. They have a weird name (wonder what it means?). There are four of them in the band and there are eight songs on this tape. They wrote the songs themselves. Several have pseudy titles like "Inauspicious Manoevre" and "Rendered Speechless" and this was recorded in a four-track cassette studio. Secondly, opinions. This isn't very good. This is a low budget production. There isn't very much high or indeed tech. The jangly guitar is sort of sub REM. After a while a lot of the songs sound the same. This album is disappointing in the vocal department. Slow Loris desperately need some tunes. They shouldn't give up their day jobs.
