A nicely presented, but rather dull five-track EP of slow-ish alternative and indie pop rock, consisting mainly of a female voice over an acoustic backing. Rather forgettable, sadly. Sola Harba are a four piece based in Oxford and although the songwriters are Christian, the songs here are not explicitly gospel and instead focus on real life issues and emotions. There is therefore an emotional honesty in the lyric writing. It's simply that the production fails to ignite the material.
