This is an independent CD from a young Missouri metal band. The production of this CD is quite rough and consequently the songs suffer. I can imagine the band would be a better proposition live. Their website states that their vision is to "reach young people for Jesus Christ using rock music" which can't be faulted. It's good to see a young band unafraid to explore lyrical themes such as sin and the numbness of the secular music scene. But sometimes here the lyrical thrust is a tad negative. But for a first effort this isn't bad and I would encourage the band in their metal-driven evangelism.
