Reviewers of previous albums in this series have been…ahem…unenthusiastic so my expectations were precisely zero as I slotted this into the CD player. The cornball songs performed by a squeaky children’s choir quickly drove everybody from my front room while I was left pondering the spiritual value of songs like “Roll Over” (you know, “There were five in the bed and the little one said roll over”) or “Six Little Ducks” which comes complete with quacks, or “Itsy Bitsy Spider” or a truly gruesome version of “Hokey Cokey”. Every now and again there is a children’s song like “Say To The Lord I Love You” or “Father We Thank You” but let’s not be deceived. Christian or not, this is cheaply produced rubbish for parents with no musical taste to inflict on their unwitting offspring.
