The release of the yearly live album from the Christian conferences Soul Survivor and Momentum was delayed somewhat due to the STL debacle at the end of last year. However, it's been well worth the wait as once again the quality of performance and songwriting is top quality. The predominant worship leaders this time are Ben Cantelon, Beth Croft and Tim Hughes, all demonstrating passion and flair, while the new songs here are memorable enough to circulate around the national church. Again the music from each conference is presented on a separate CD, the Soul Survivor disk holding 10 tracks and the Momentum one holding six. This year's album includes the great anthemic songs "Not Ashamed" and "Jesus Saves" that show how well worship and rock can be intertwined; and the power ballad "You're Beautiful" that does a great job in speaking of the overwhelming beauty of God. With so many live worship projects released these days it's impressive that Soul Survivor to be the market leader in the field.

This is the latest offering from the annual Soul Survivor festivals every summer that happen in Somerset in the UK, with the second disc featuring live worship from Momentum, the students and 20's version of Soul Survivor.
The Soul Survivor disc features perhaps 'the song' of the festival, the Phil Wickham penned 'You're Beautiful' led by fifteen-year old Jamie Rodwell is one of the highlights of the album along with the opener and title track, 'Not Ashamed', sung here by Ben Cantelon.
The second disc from Momentum has a different 'feel' to the worship. The highlights on the disc are a rather excellent version of 'Remember' by Tim Hughes and the Compassionart song, 'King of Wonders' sung by Sam Parker.
The band on both discs are musically and dynamically superb and collectively more than do the songs justice.
The production of both disc's are up to the usual excellent standard, kept in the capable hands of Paul Burton.
There is a good variety, both in terms of song choice, style and worship leaders.
Overall, a fitting CD to remember all that God did over the two festivals, possibly one of the best live worship CD's of this year.

Awesome album! I pre-ordered the album whilst i was at the event and i recieved it today, and all i can say is, it's a must have! An awesome collection of worship to our awesome God! Brings back so many great memories of the event, and even if you didn't manage to go, its an awesome CD of worship. A great variety of songs, both up-beat and reverent, with two great songs led by the two teenage worship leaders that led this year. A must have, and well worth the money.
