It has only been a matter of months since Israel Houghton's release of 'A Deeper Level' and the gospel guru is off again, this time as producer, with his band taking centre stage. The CD delivers the distinctly gospel/soul style which we've come to expect, but drawing on the Integrity portfolio instead of wholly original material. "You Are Good" is one of the band's own titles which features and of course they do it well, but there's nothing surprising. Others include a re-working of Ten Shekel Shirt's "Sing For Joy" and Paul Baloche/Don Moen's "Thank You Lord" which are again OK, but again there is nothing that special in performance or arrangement that sets them apart.
