The debut live album from the music arm of London megachurch New Wine sees the sizeable gospel conglomerate hit the ground running. With a polished and highly skilled musical backdrop overseen by in-demand producer Goz-i-am and with the renowned Lawrence Johnson overseeing the whole choir, the New Wine folks kick things off in high octane fashion with the dance-tinged "Your Love Is Forever" and the victorious title track before taking the pace down a notch with the likes of the previously released single "God Of The Impossible" - featured twice here for good measure - and the contemplative "We Say Yes". Before long, proceedings are ramped back up again with numbers like "Rise! Run! Reign!" and this, alongside a revolving door of top notch singers that include Orakle Obarotimi, Glenn and Mutsa Gwazai, Margeaux Michelle and special guest Nathaniel Bassey, makes for a varied, enjoyable and accomplished first outing from a gospel choir with the lead singers, songs and now recording to surely be a contender for a MOBO.
