This is the third full length project alongside a number of EPs from the Milwaukee based quartet, and one look at their biog shows that they are not only very popular worldwide, but they are also extremely hardworking and committed to the cause. But what of the product? Well, it must be said that what Spirit Creek may lack in finesse, they make up for in bucket loads with energy. Things get off to a suitably epic start with the Guns N Roses-styled "In Front Of Me" and although the emphasis is on volume - check out the Nirvana-esque crunch of "Analogue", there are plenty of more reflective moments such as "What's Wrong With Me". Lead vocalist and band founder Doug Shea has a distinctive delivery - maybe not to everyone's taste, but you can't fault his or the band's zeal and passion for their task.
